Shanti Stupa is situated on a hilltop in Chanspa built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu Gyomyo Nakamura. Shanti stupa provides beautiful and panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. Shanti Stupa in Ladakh was built to promote world peace and a symbol of the ties between Japan and Ladakh.

Leh Palace: This palace was constructed during the 17th century, under the patronage of King Singe Namgyal. It served as the regal residence of the Namgyal dynasty until the mid-19th century, after which the royal family permanently shifted to Stok.

In the evening, take a walk to the local bazaar in Leh and enjoy Shanti Stupa.

Day : 02

Route: Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardung-la Pass

Distance/Time Taken : 125 kms 4 – 5 Hrs. one way drive (Approx.)

After delicious breakfast at the hotel drive to Nubra Valley (125 kms) via Khardung la Pass which is situated at a height of 18360 ft and is considered as the 2nd highest motorable pass of the world.

Once you arrive at Khalsar drive on the left towards Diskit&Hunder Village. Check in at your camp/Hotel. Drive to Hunder Sand Dunes to enjoy Camel Safari (OPTIONAL) on the shabby double -humped Bactrian camels.

Hunder is a small village where the Shyok River meets Nubra River. Hunder lies on the ancient silk rout Hunder is most popular for the camel rides.

Day : 03

Route : Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake via Shayok (New Route)

Distance/Time Taken :150 Kms 4 -5 hrs. Drive (Approx.)

After delicious breakfast at your camp drive to Pangong Lake via Shayok. This direct route from Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso has now become more popular in past few years. Drive from Nubra to Pangong via Agham – Shayok drive through Durbuk and Tangtse village situated in the Changthang region of Ladakh. Pangong Lake is salt water, 120 km in length and 6 – 7 Km broad at the longest point. It is bisected by the international border between India & China. Visit the exact location of the famous movie “Three idiots” & enjoy outing along the banks of the lake. One really feels very close to nature at Pangong Lake with its scenic surroundings. Day : 04

Route : Pangong – Leh

Distance/Time Taken : 130 kms 4 – 5 Hrs one way drive (Approx.)

An early morning, you can enjoy a photo – session around the lake. Post breakfast drive back to Leh through Changla Pass. Enroute visit Shey, Thiksey and 3 idiots school. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Day : 05

Route : Leh –Airport

Waking up early in the morning, enjoy delicious breakfast and get to say bye to the enchanting environs of Ladakh. You will be dropped at the Leh Airport for your onward journey.
